5.2.2 Local Commands of CLI

Please note: to use one of the local commands, you first have to change to the

corresponding configuration area, e.g.

802.1x <Enter> set mode 1

쮿 set max-request

왏 Syntax:

set max-request <port-range> <times>

왏 Description:

The maximum number of times that the state machine will retransmit an

EAP Request packet to the Supplicant before it times out the

authentication session.

왏 Argument:

<port range>: syntax 1,5-7, available from 1 to 26

<times>: max-times, range 1-10

왏 Possible value:

<port range> : 1 to 26

<times> : 1-10, default is 2

왏 Example:

PSES-2126C(802.1x)# set max-request 2 2

쮿 set mode

왏 Syntax:

set mode <port-range> <mode>

왏 Description:

To set up the 802.1X

authentication mode of each port.

왏 Argument:

<port range> : syntax 1,5-7, available from 1 to 26

<mode> : set up 802.1x mode

0:disable the 802.1x function
